2008 IFE INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF THE ARTS.........a success |
The 2008 IFE INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF THE ART, kicks-off at the Oduduwa hall of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.
With people from various walks of life. Oba's, Ministers of the Federation, Ambassador representing different counties, foreign delegates and people of Knowledge, where present at the Opening ceremony which started by 11:00am. The venue was filled to the brim and our guest artist for that day was Lagbaja (the mask man) and Jimi Solake.
There was also performance by troupes from various counties like India and state in Nigeria, featuring Nasarawa, Ekiti and Ife. All where at there best to trill the crowd. |

| From the opening ceremony (8th of April, 2008) through to the closing ceremony (12th of April, 08) there was
varieties of line-up programmes for this year festival, ranging from cultural performance, Colloquium, musical concert, film show, drama and play presentaion, quiz (prizes where won such as, a laptop, DVD player and a sound system) and much more were
highlights of the festival. |
